Forget

The sun it shone so bright,
But I had, lived my life, blinded.
The scars they come and go,
But my, heart bleeds, when I see him.

And I wipe away my tears,
So he can't see them,
But he feels them.
I hold his hand tight,
Like he could save me,
But I can't be,
Saved.

So I pray,
When the days cut short, and the nights never end.
When the clouds they part, just to float back again.
When the rivers dry, but the tears remain.
I'm hoping,
He finds someone,
To help him forget.

The clock is ticking down,
But I have, lived my life, in minutes.
The stars they call out loud,
I can, feel my heart, give in.

And he wipes away his tears,
So I don't see them,
But I feel them.
He holds my hand tight,
Like it could save me,
But I can't be,
Saved.

So I pray,
When the days cut short, and the nights never end.
When the clouds they part, just to float back again.
When the rivers dry, but the tears remain.
I'm hoping,
He finds someone,
To help him forget.

Forget all the pain,
Forget all the hurt,
Forget all the memories,
That bring back too much.
Forget all the heartbreak,
Forget all the loss,
Just remember my love,
And remember these words.
When the days cut short and the nights never end.
When the clouds they part, just to float back again.
When the rivers dry, but the tears remain.
I'm hoping,
You find someone,
Who helps you forget.
